|Choose the right size pieces for the space you are decorating…
I often see overly large lounges with really big arms and high, deep backs in spaces that are way too small for them. An oversize lounge may look comfy but it also takes up a lot of space both literally and visually.
This is not a wise choice in a smaller room. Instead look to choose a lounge with smaller arms and a lower back – your room will instantly feel larger as it opens up the space.
Another trick is to choose a lounge with thin legs instead of a solid base, opening up the space under the lounge! By being able to see more of the floor under the lounge which gives the illusion of a larger room.
